The design was inspired by the old fabric of the city of Najaf, while creating a strong axis towards the holy shrine of Imam Ali, peace be upon him.
Shanasheel has been re-used in a modern way and the introduction of glass material that gives the feeling of lightness and transparency in addition to being a modern material that contrasts with the solid heritage blocks.
The water element was inserted into the project to give it a living and dynamic character in addition to being a way of softening and moisturizing the atmosphere.
